TIM TORGERSON

Born and raised in Whitefish, Montana…and recently moved back in September of 2005 after living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Musical Style: Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist (Acoustic & Electric) PROGRESSIVE ACOUSTIC INDIE. Latest CD: The Invisible Man – a 14-song studio album with my trio, produced and mixed by L.A. based producer extraordinaire, Michael James (whose credits include: New Radicals, Robben Ford, Hole, Reverend Horton Heat, AJ Croce, Janes Addiction, L7, et al.) Next, a number of acoustic recordings are in planning stages. Performance Style: I kind of have a thing for handmade acoustics and I love to play electric guitars too. My repertoire consists of original songs and instrumentals and twisted arrangements of classic and current cover songs. I also find inspiration by using alternate tunings, standard and custom-designed capos and high-end electronic gear including a looping device…oh yeah, I tend to beat on my guitar at times too. Family: I’m at home with my wife, Alex, our son, Joseph, daughter, Estelle & baby son, Matthew. Additional Passions: I also get into tennis and other racquet sports, as well as skiing, hiking (currently living 25 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park), climbing, photography, art and LIFE.

JOHN ARENDS

John lives in Kalispell, Montana, where he is on staff at Riverside Vineyard Church. He oversees the church’s worship ministry, young adults ministry, and media efforts. John frequently leads worship at churches, conferences, and events locally and across the United States. John also leads worship in foreign nations, seeking to change the spiritual atmosphere of those nations and encouraging the local worship teams there. John has also written many cutting edge worship songs that are being sung around the United States and around the world.

img_3346LUKE DOWLER

Beyond fronting a number of original bands, extensive touring and developing a loyal following, Luke Dowler is now emerging as a strong solo artist.  With a captivating, emotive voice and edgy, alternative pop-rock sound-scapes, Luke delivers songs that range from keen, third story window perspectives, to candor in his own human condition (reminding us of ours) and reckoning with the ideas of hope and grace in a world of war and sweat.   A consummate musician, Dowler accompanies himself solo with an arsenal of fresh ideas, looping and rhythmic acoustic experimentation or provides the electric soul within the interplay of musicianship that his band Veteran Greene brings to round out his recordings and live band performances.  After four independent CDs, Luke continues selling records wherever his music finds presence–which has taken him from local favorite to international travel and the world wide web.

REND THE HEAVENS

Now operating out of Portland, OR, the band had its beginnings at a missionary base in Montana. “We wanted to record a collection of worship songs that echoed the deep longing we saw in so many people’s hearts,” says Aaron Sternke, the main writer and lead singer of the band. “The old hymn writers did it so well… you can hear the entire gospel message in some of those old songs. Today’s message, in contrast, can often be so cheap…”Our whole philosophy and mission” says Aaron, “is well summed up in 1 John 3:2 – ‘When we see Him, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He is.’ So seeing Christ is what makes us like Him. We want to live this through our music – to see Jesus as He is, and through Him bring a healing change to people’s lives.”

GREG DEMUTH

A husband, daddy, german-shepherd-owner, guitar player, song writer,  skier, child of the Living  God, and Lutheran pastor from Northwest, MT. No one’s more surprised than me that I’m a pastor.  God chooses the weak things of this world! In the struggles of life I see humor. It’s not that I think  tragedy is funny, but that everything that happens points to two realities. First, that we are nothing without the living presence of Jesus within us. Second, that we persistently attempt to counterfeit that presence. It’s so easy to take ourselves too seriously and fill our lives with holy knock-offs.  What I document in the world of worship is  often influenced by laughing at my frailty and presumptuousness. It’s a laugh of love. It’s a laugh of freedom. It’s a laugh of wonder. After all, what in the world does God expect to do with the likes of me? Good things. Great plans with both a future and a hope. Selah.
